MLB, MLBPA agree to new CBA after months of negotiating: reports

Major League Baseball and the MLB Players Association agreed to a new labor deal on Thursday, according to multiple reports.

The deal would still need to be ratified by both parties, but ESPN reported it was expected to be a “formality.”

Opening Day is reportedly set for April 7 and it is expected that a full 162-game season will be played.
